Yes. Usually paid are: * customs duty (10% of the customs value), * VAT (23% in PL), * excise tax — 3.1% for engines ≤ 2000 cm³ and 18.6% for > 2000 cm³.
Electromobiles and plug-in hybrids with internal combustion engines up to 2000 cm³ are exempt from excise duty; a reduced rate of 1.55 – 9.3 % applies to traditional hybrids.
It consists of: the auction buyout price, platform fees, internal logistics to the port, maritime freight, insurance, customs value, customs duties, VAT, excise tax, and our transparent fixed fee.
The deposit starts from 3,000 PLN and depends on the maximum bet you want to place.
We take a refundable deposit of 2,500 zł (equivalent to $600). It is only blocked during the auction period and is fully refunded if the customer changes their mind or does not win the lot. For comparison, the competitor Bid.cars requires a deposit of at least 4,000 zł.
No. AutaSnap has dealer accounts; we handle all the legal formalities. The client gains access to an online dashboard where they can monitor bids in real time.
Before the sale, we perform a full CARFAX/AutoCheck (USA) or VIN report (EU), verify the mileage, take photos of the car on the yard, and send the report to the client.
Clean title — the vehicle has no "total loss," damages are not critical; registration in Poland proceeds without issues. Salvage title — the vehicle has been declared a total loss by insurance; more extensive repairs may be needed, additional assessment at the Vehicle Inspection Station is required. We explain the risks in advance and provide an estimated repair budget.
Deposit refund guarantee; fixed fee without "+ percentage of the deal"; marine cargo insurance for the full value of the vehicle; photo/video report after loading; contract with OTP (Carrier's Civil Liability) for all logistics.
We are filing a claim with the auction/transport company; the insurance covers the damage. The client can choose repairs with AutaSnap partners or monetary compensation.
Through the PUESC system, we submit the SAD declaration; customs duties and VAT are paid at ZUS ZEFIR, excise duty — at USC. After issuance — technical inspection, translations, registration at the vehicle registration office. Everything takes 3–5 days.
Yes. We cooperate with various banks; the offer is available already at the lot selection stage — the bank blocks the buyout amount and issues a financing promesa.
